In past years the Met Gala has highlighted an array of exquisite jewelry, ranging from high-end designer brands and vintage pieces to statement jewelry. Notable jewelry designers such as Lorraine Schwartz, Bulgari, Harry Winston, and Cartier have all created pieces for the annual event.

This year's gala, themed around the iconic Karl Lagerfeld and his incredible career, featured some timeless vintage pieces to match Karl's artistic vision. Celebrities such as Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Dua Lipa stunned in their eye-catching jewelry, including the Bulgari Laguna Blu diamond necklace worth $25 million and a Tiffany & Co 100 carat Diamond necklace.

But the piece that caught our attention was Gigi Hadid's one-of-a-kind haute couture creation made exclusively from lab grown diamonds.  What a showstopper!
